The best part about self-care and wellness is it can be anything you want it to be.
Self-care and wellness for me, can be anything from taking some time for peace in my hammock, to smashing out all the housework leading up to an Endo-flare up.
Staying mindful of your “future-self” and doing things for your future-self is not only a great way to give yourself a bit of lovin’, but it can also be a powerful confidence booster too.
This disease can leave us feeling hesitant to commit or go out and do things at the best of times. Taking care of yourself and your future-self is just one of the things that can help you feel more empowered and in control.
Over the next year, I’ll be posting articles on how you can stay mindful at home, using self-care and wellness to keep you as happy and confident as you possibly can be.
It may be harder some days than others – but self-care is about allowing yourself to have bad days when you need them too 🙂
I hope this section brings you some inspiration, motivation and most of all – peace!
